About the Journal

Bulletin of the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists

The Bulletin of the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists is the annual publication of the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists issued along with the Annual Scientific Sessions of the College.

The Bulletin includes summaries of speeches, lectures, and symposia, as well as abstracts of oral and poster presentations scheduled for the Annual Scientific Sessions. Additionally, it features reviews, research articles, and case reports relevant to microbiology and infectious diseases contributed by the membership.

Our Aims

To encourage the membership to conduct and publish high-quality research.
To support and improve the clinical practice of microbiology in Sri Lanka.
To share professional experiences that enrich and upgrade local standards.

???? Submission & Peer Review

All manuscripts are subjected to rigorous peer review before acceptance. Submissions are accepted with the understanding that the work is not being submitted simultaneously to another journal and has not been previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
